Dining in the Magnolia Cafe
Beginning at 11 a.m., lunch is served daily in the Magnolia Café. Soups, sandwiches and salads are a constant on the menu with specialty dishes featured throughout the year. The Café also offers afternoon refreshments and snacks, perfect for any time of the year.
During Magic Christmas in Lights, supper is served on a nightly basis, featuring a nightly special. Hot chocolate and hot apple cider are also perennial favorites during Magic Christmas in Lights and are available in the Magnolia Café and on Live Oak Plaza.
For special occasions, the 1,200 square-foot Magnolia Room is available for rental!
Magnolia Room Rental
The Magnolia Room at Bellingrath Gardens and Home is available for rental daily from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. and until 9 p.m. during Magic Christmas in Lights. Perfect for company meetings, bridal showers, family reunions, birthday parties and other events, the Magnolia Room is over 1,200 square feet with a maximum occupancy of 100 people.
Rental Rates
Monday through Thursday:
0-4 hours: $300, includes beverage service
4-9 hours: $450, includes beverage service
Friday through Sunday:
0-4 hours: $350, includes beverage service
4-9 hours: $550, includes beverage service
Gardens Admissions
Admission to the Gardens is not included in therental rate of the Magnolia Room. By renting the Magnolia Room, guests will be able to purchase tickets at the discounted group rate. Group tickets should be purchased at least 10 business days prior to the event date by contacting Shanna Bennett, Group Tour Coordinator, at 251.973.2217 ext 163.
Catering
Outside of provided beverage service, which is included in the rental price of the Magnolia Room and includes water, tea and coffee, catering may be provided by Bellingrath Gardens and Home or Naman’s Catering. Please contact Cindy Young at Bellingrath Gardens and Home for in house catering options at 251.973.2217 extension 174. Outside catering is handled exclusively with Naman’s Catering of Mobile and may be contacted at 251.473.3900.
Party Planner
Please note that Bellingrath Gardens and Home does not employ an event coordinator on property. If the planning of an event requires the assistance of outside consultation, please ask for the names of professional consultants.
Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to hold an available date with the balance to be paid two (2) weeks prior to the date of the event. Checks should be made payable to Bellingrath Gardens and Home. In the event of a cancellation with up to 5 business days notice, a 25% cancellation fee is applied. 100% if forfeited thereafter. Our mailing address is:
