Stillman College Concert Choir to Perform at Bellingrath Gardens and Home

Theodore, AL – As part of Magic Christmas in Lights (MCIL), the Stillman College Concert Choir will perform on Friday, November 30 at 7:00 PM on the South Terrace of the Bellingrath Museum Home.  The choir will present a number of holiday and spiritual favorites for all those who attend. 

The Stillman Choir, led by Dr. Phillip Westgate, has been acclaimed for its ability to perform distinct musical genres such as spirituals and contemporary gospel.  The choir has performed with the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, the Johnson Symphony Orchestra, for the Alabama Governor’s Arts Award Program and in Germany.  Stillman College is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and is one of the beneficiaries of the Bellingrath-Morse Foundation.

Bellingrath has invited other choral groups from around the region to perform during MCIL as well.  All performances will be held on the Bellingrath Home’s South Terrace.  A full schedule of performances is available on the Bellingrath website at www.bellingrath.org.

MCIL will continue daily 5 PM to 9 PM through New Year’s Eve, closed only on December 25th.  Admission is $10 for adults, $5.50 for children 5 – 12 and children under 5 are free.
