Theodore, Alabama  - As the annual Cascade Mum Show begins to peak guests will explore step-by-step scientific illustration techniques in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere. They will develop their powers of observation while using washes, dry brush and glazing techniques . Webb will also help participants mix colors to create depth with light and shadow.  Our artists will never see plants in quite the same way again. No previous art experience is necessary.

Workshop includes classroom demo, lunch and plenty of time to draw in the Gardens. All supplies will be provided. Reservations required - 251.973.2217. Please register by Friday, November 6, 2009.
