The Night Sky Over Bellingrath

Bellingrath Gardens and Home will present The Night Sky Over Bellingrath, an astronomy program for families, on Thursday, July 10, 2008.  Astronomers from the Physics Department of the University of South Alabama will be on Bellingrath's Great Lawn to help families view the night sky and learn more about what they see.  Two telescopes will be available during the program.  Guests are encouraged to bring their own telescopes, binoculars, blankets and/or chairs.  The Gardens will reopen at 7:00 pm for families to enjoy an evening walk and the program will begin at 8:00 pm.  The Gardens will close at 9:00 pm.  There will be special discount admissions - Adults $5, Children $1 and Members admitted free.  Reservations requested. Weather permitting.
