Celebrate Easter at Sunrise at Bellingrath Gardens and Home

Theodore, AL – As the sun rises over Bellingrath Gardens and Home on Easter Sunday, enjoy a special Sunrise Service with friends and family on the Great Lawn.  The service on March 23 will begin at 6:30 AM and will be led by Dr. Gorman Houston from Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, Dr. Stephen Dill and Dr. Tom Boone from Central Presbyterian Church.  The service is open to anyone in the community.

During the service, an offering will be collected to benefit The Family Promise Community Homeless Ministry of St. Francis.

Complimentary admission will be given to guests from 6:00 until 8:00 AM.  Since the service is on the Great Lawn, guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.  A continental breakfast will be available in the Magnolia Café.

Following the service, Alabama Cruises will offer an exclusive Easter Sunday Breakfast aboard the Southern Belle.  Guests will enjoy breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 AM along scenic Fowl River.  The menu includes: Carved Ham, Fruit Salad, Biscuits, Gravy, Sausage, Bacon, Grits, Eggs, Pastries, Coffee, Tea and Water.  The cruise will depart from the Bellingrath Riverfront Pavilion. Tickets for the breakfast cruise are $30 per person and children under the age of five are free.  Reservations are required and may be made by calling Alabama Cruises at 251.973.1244.
