Bellingrath Gardens and Home Announces the New Director of Marketing and Public Relations

Theodore, AL – Bellingrath Gardens and Home is pleased to announce that Leslie C. Schraeder has joined the staff as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations.  She will be responsible for promoting Bellingrath regionally as well as increasing the national group tour market.

Schraeder is originally from St. Louis, Missouri.  She relocated to Mobile, Alabama in 1992 to attend Spring Hill College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree.  She worked in numerous non-profit organizations while acquiring her education.  Most recently Schraeder worked for the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation as the Development and Marketing Director and before that was the Director of Public Relations and Volunteer Services for The Salvation Army.  

Schraeder currently serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the Public Relations Council of Alabama.  She is also a member of the Southern Public Relations Federation, Bay Area Ad Federation and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
