Mum Festival Family Day is held on the first Saturday in November and includes a fun day for family members of all ages.  Including family-friendly events, the Mum Festival Family Fun Day welcomes families and children to enjoy special events throughout the nation's largest outdoor display of cascading mums. 

A whole host of fun, family activities are being planned for this special day from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Special events scheduled include:

• Kid's Lunch Kruise aboard the Southern Belle River Cruiser (reservations required).
• Growing Cascading Mum Demonstration
• Take-A-Plant Home
• Fall Craft Projects
• Scavenger Hunts throughout the Gardens and the Bayou Boardwalk
