Get the entire family ready for the Easter Egg Hunt at Bellingrath Gardens and Home!  Thousands of Easter eggs will be hidden throughout the Great Lawn for children to uncover.  Professional photographers will be available to have pictures made with the Easter Bunny while the backdrop of Bellingrath Gardens makes for perfect spring pictures.  Fun activities prior to and after the Egg Hunt will be held on Live Oak Plaza and the South Terrace of the Bellingrath Home. 

2009 Easter Egg Hunt Event Information:

Date: Saturday, April 11, 2009

Registration:  9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Egg Hunt Times for age groups:

                Age 2 and Under:  Continuous from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 

                Ages 3-5: 10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

                Ages 6-10: 10:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

After the Easter Egg Hunt, join Bellingrath Gardens and Home as we hope to beat the world record for the world's largest Bunny Hop!  The current record is 1,900, so come join us!

In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, enjoy a fun day of activities on the South Terrace from 9 a.m. to noon.  Children can participate in a sidewalk chalk Easter mural, coloring sheets, Sunshine the Clown, a bookmark art project and much more!

Also, the Magnolia Cafe will serve a variety of Easter snacks on Live Oak Plaza!
