Scenic River Cruise 
Alabama Cruises will use the Kingfisher instead of the Southern Belle for its daily cruises beginning on Monday, June 8, 2009. Cruises will run at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. during the months of June, July, August and mi-September. All Cruises are weather permitting. The Kid's Kruise scheduled for July 15th and all other pre-scheduled group tours will utilize the Southern Belle.
A visit to Bellingrath Gardens and Home is not complete without a 45 minute cruise aboard the Southern Belle River Cruiser. Departing from Bellingrath Gardens between March and November, the river cruise offers visitors a relaxing and educational tour along the Fowl River. Unique wildlife and birding habitats can be witnessed on the river, as well as a wonderful view of the Bellingrath Home.
Southern Belle
The Southern Belle is a U.S. Coast Guard Certified vessel that carries up to 150 passengers. Public dinner cruises, private dinner cruises and private charters are also offered. Downstairs is enclosed and air conditioned. A covered deck for optimal scenic views can be found upstairs.
Kingfisher
The Kingfisher is an open air vessel with a seating capacity of 20. This smaller vessel allows guests an opportunity to view wildlife habitats at a closer range and is far more fuel efficient.
More About the Southern Belle
Public dinner cruises depart on Friday and Saturday nights February through November and nightly during December. A three-entrée buffet is served and a cash bar is also available.
Entertainment, which includes an acoustic guitarist, is also provided. The dress is casual and cruises depart, rain or shine. Dinner cruises board at 6:30 p.m., depart at 7 p.m. and return by 9 p.m.

$88.00 per couple
Group rate of $40.00 per person with a group of 12 or more.
Private Charter
The Southern Belle is also available for private charter. A private cruise may be anything from a seated buffet dinner with a piano player in the background to a hors d’oeuvres reception with a three-piece jazz combo for dancing. A late night rock-and-roll party cruise is also always an option. Additional ideas are happily entertained. Prices are available upon request.
